Michael Watson's Portfolio – Orange County WordPress Developer

Stephenson County is a website that I converted from Dot Net Nuke to WordPress during my time at Kussner. Everything about this WordPress Site was developed from the ground up to be easy to maintain for the client. The directory and the events are easily maintainable through custom post types and the menus through the custom menu interface.

After the completion of this project, I provided a solution for their advertizing initiative. The solution I put in place was a mixture of a current lightbox solution, javascript to call the lightbox, a cookie to track when a visitor last saw the ad and php to specify whether to call the ad based on the cookie. I also styled the lightbox to look like the site and styled the additional information to look like the rest of the ad.
